RACE DAY: Saturday 21st November 2026 (NO Rain-day back-up due to logistical difficulties)

Max Competitors: 100 per category

50k/100k Start times: 6:00am at Woodside train station, Greytown

12k/25k: Start times: 10am at Upper Picnic area, Tunnel Gully, Upper Hutt

UPDATE FOR 2026

Forestry works are taking place in the Tunnel Gully area from September 2026

This will impact the area from Station Drive - Goat Rock track - Taniwha

The 12KM and 25KM courses will be adjusted slightly to utilise the lower MTB trails for the return journey, which will mean a little less vert, but retain a similar distance. The updated course will be finalised by June

The 50KM will remain the same

The 100KM/Relay will also remain the same

Note that there is likely to be forestry changes, plus machinery around the Goat Rock/Station drive areas on race day.

We are working with the Forestry crews to ensure safe passage for race day

The 12K Scenic A beautiful intro to trails, or a fun undulating course through beautiful Tunnel Gully recreation area	The 25K Quad Extender The 12k course with Mt Climie thrown in for good measure.	The 50K Ultra The perfect 50K Ultra. Tough, scenic and rewarding	The 100K Ultra A battle of two halves maybe? Tough, hilly 43k followed by relatively runnable second half. Plus Climie to finish
