COMP GEAR FOR THE WUU2K
ALL CATEGORIES of the WUU2K have compulsory gear. You must either wear it OR have it on you for the duration of the run. If you are looking light on course, you may be checked and will be disqualified if you are missing gear. If you're in a position where you need it and don't have it, you could put yourself or others in serious danger.
Please BE SENSIBLE and pack the gear.
21km entrants DO NOT need a headlight.
Please use the photo gallery below as a guide/checklist. Links available for examples to use as a guide.
Photos for reference.
PLEASE NOTE: If the weather is looking good on race day, we MAY minimise the compulsory gear. Please still bring everything to gear check though. We will advise you at rego day.
ITEMS NOT ALLOWED: Headphones, and portable speakers are not allowed on course. This is for your own safety and the safety of others, plus we have multiple road crossings where you need to be able to hear marshal instructions.
